Weather Index-Based Crop Insurance (WIBCI)
We introduced Weather Index-Based Crop Insurance to support marginal and smallholder farmers in facing extreme weather events.
It protects crops like Aman rice, Boro rice and maize from climate-related risks such as excessive rainfall, drought or high temperature extremes.
